Maggie studied pottery and weaving at Cambrian College for 5 years (1980-85). She then took a 10 year hiatus and went into the work force until 1995 when she once again fell in love with clay. She works mainly on functional wares both on the wheel and hand wielding.

  She enjoys making cooking ware, ie; baking dishes, pie plates, casseroles, etc.

  She also enjoys making large bowls either for food or bird baths. She uses many different glazes, having not yet found her "signature" glaze or style of glazing.

  She is constantly taking summer courses and workshops to improve her techniques, get new ideas and mingle with other potters.
